We are seeking a Practice Manager who will deliver leadership in planning, guiding, and coordinating practice operations for a well-established Primary Care medical practice. Maintain focus on service and operational excellence. The primary responsibilities of this position are supervision of all practice staff, fostering cohesion within the practice, managing, and coordinating the development and implementation of policies and procedures as they relate to customer service.
Day-to-Day Operations: Overseeing the daily functions of the practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and staff management.
Staff Management: Hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, and developing staff to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction.
Financial Management: Managing budgets, tracking revenue, and ensuring accurate billing and collections.
Quality Improvement: Identifying and implementing strategies to improve patient care, staff productivity, and overall practice efficiency.
Communication: Serving as a point of contact for patients, staff, providers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, and addressing concerns.
Position Summary:
Responsible for daily operations management and supervision of assigned practice(s) in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The practice manager will maintain regulatory compliance and is responsible for maintenance of licenses/certifications, primary source validation, proper credentialing with health system medical staff office and payers. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders (CBO, marketing, quality team, business development, finance, A/P, payroll, human resources, c-suite, facilities, vendors, corporate and local administration) to ensure effective and efficient practice operations. Practice manager will be the primary practice liaison to internal and external stakeholders. Manages departmental expenses cost effectively, monitors revenue cycle operations, volume and revenue generation to assure practice budgets are met and provider subsidies are kept to a minimum. Participates in annual operating and capital budgeting and provider and employee recruitment and onboarding. Demonstrates service excellence, conveys professionalism, and maintains appropriate confidentiality at all times. Other duties as assigned.
Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities.
