Job Description

This role is responsible for supporting and enhancing application production activities with a strong focus on tag management and analytics implementation. The position requires deep technical expertise in web tagging technologies, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver accurate, actionable data across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a consultative mindset to technical problem solving and support application and infrastructure availability. This mid- to senior-level role plays a key part in ensuring strategic data collection aligns with business and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement tagging specifications for web and mobile tracking in alignment with business objectives.
• Implement and manage tags using Adobe Experience Platform Launch and/or Google Tag Manager.
• Validate tag deployment using browser-based debugging tools and ensure data accuracy within analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
• Translate business goals into effective data collection strategies and robust tagging architecture.
• Oversee the availability and performance of application and infrastructure components.
• Serve as a subject matter expert during project discovery phases and advise on tagging strategies and solutions.
• Utilize tools like Adobe Analytics and ObservePoint for testing, validation, and analysis.
• Review existing systems to streamline operations and eliminate redundancies.
• Act as a key point of contact for business users and stakeholders regarding platform availability and analytics integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity and governance.
• Manage incident resolution, perform root cause analysis, and implement both short- and long-term solutions.
• Support various database technologies, including Oracle and SQL Server, in analytics-related applications.
• Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to continuous improvement in analytics and application support processes.

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or web analytics implementation.
• Proven expertise with tag management systems such as Adobe Launch and/or Google Tag Manager.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, JSON, and debugging tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools).
• Hands-on experience developing and validating complex tag configurations.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
• Strong problem-solving and consultative skills with a strategic, data-driven mindset.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid development methodologies.
• Working knowledge of incident management and change management processes.

Desired:

• Familiarity with ObservePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
• Understanding of SQL Server and data structures.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications and collaborating with third-party vendors.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
