MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS OF SHIPPING AND RECEIVING EXPERIENCE INCLUDING OPERATING SIT-DOWN AND STAND-UP FORKLIFTS.

Connect Staffing is looking for a dedicated Shipping / Receiving - Warehouse Utility Worker to join a manufacturing company in the North Houston area! 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

Requirements for Shipping/Receiving - Warehouse Utility Worker: 

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred.
• Proven ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Experience in warehouse organization, inventory handling, and material movement.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety rules, job instructions, and documentation.
• Prior experience in roles such as Shipping and Receiving Clerk, Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, Logistics Technician or Forklift Operator is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Shipping/Receiving - Warehouse Utility Worker: 

• Ship and receive raw materials, supplies, and finished goods.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Pack, label, barcode, and prepare shipments according to customer requirements.
• Organize and maintain warehouse and parking lot areas.
• Place inventory on racks and ensure proper storage.
• Pull requisitions/materials for production jobs.
• Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Set up, run, and maintain machinery, including the twister.
• Band skids and E-containers to wood pallets.
• Inspect products for quality and adherence to manufacturing specifications.
• Bundle items and attach required warning sheets and labels.
• Follow safety procedures, JHAs (Job Hazard Analysis), and company policies.
• Grind hardware as needed.
• Roll slings, pack products, and assist with barcoding.
• Use computer systems and software for data entry and printing shipping/manufacturing documents.
