We are seeking a(an) Mammography Technician PRN for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Operates mammography equipment, maintains records, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Registered with the ARRT (R) & (M) required
• Certified in Bone Density and Mammo preferred
• State Certified as a General Radiographer
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an AMA accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Ability to perform all mammographic procedures according to established guidelines utilizing appropriate equipment.

We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children’s Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology.
