Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide all maintenance operations and processes.
  • Draft, interpret, and lead designated CAPEX projects.
  • Manage resources, financial elements, and project timelines.
  • Promote and exemplify company values, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and execute a proactive maintenance strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and standards among all departmental staff and subcontractors.
  • Standardize work methods through established Procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Create and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for facilities, installations, and machinery.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and rectify issues.
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation efforts.
  • Assign repair timelines and assess cost estimates for repairs.
  • Monitor expenses and manage the maintenance budget.
  • Document and prepare daily reports on progress and maintenance logs.
  • Oversee budget management and authorize expenditures.
  • Ensure the availability of essential tools and equipment.
  • Manage equipment safety stock and order new supplies as needed.
  • Forecast, order, and negotiate pricing for spare parts inventory.
  • Recruit and manage subcontractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.
  • Implement and monitor maintenance KPIs (MTBF, Preventive Maintenance execution, OEE ratio) and financial KPIs (budget adherence, cost reduction initiatives).
  • Establish and uphold the 5S program within the team’s area.
  • Address emergencies and develop troubleshooting protocols.
  • Act as a change leader to foster a culture of Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement.
  • Seek innovative methods to enhance productivity and minimize costs.
  • Manage technical documentation of facilities, installations, and equipment in line with Quality Management System standards.
  • Handle maintenance SCARs (Supplier Corrective Action Requests).
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure high-quality resources for anticipated workloads, schedules, and projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in the relevant field.
  • 5+ years of pertinent experience, including team leadership or management roles.
  • Proficiency in CMMS is necessary.
  • Familiarity with equipment in operation and understanding of maintenance processes and techniques.
  • Knowledge of asset management principles, best practices on the shop floor, and risk management.
