Job Description

The Content Marketing Manager leads content strategy and digital engagement across Dairy MAX’s brands, ensuring a cohesive and compelling presence through owned media. This role focuses on content development, social media, and digital storytelling that connects with audiences. With a sharp understanding of consumer behavior and a passion for fresh ideas, the Manager supports both brand and organizational priorities.

Requirements

  • Develop and maintain an omni-channel content strategy aligned with organizational and federation priorities, ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement.
  • Lead digital content across websites, social media, and other owned channels to deliver innovative, relevant and impactful stories.
  • Drive content marketing ROI by aligning strategy with business goals, managing budgets, and ensuring efficient resource use.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align content with broader education and dairy consumption goals.
  • Oversee content optimization through A/B testing, audience segmentation, and SEO best practices including keyword research, metadata, and tagging.
  • Manage and grow social communities by fostering dialogue, responding to inquiries, and creating engagement opportunities.
  • Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and content formats to improve quality and expand reach.
  • Track, analyze, and report performance using KPIs like engagement, reach, and impression; partner with the Analytics Manager to refine strategy.

Skills, Abilities, and Behaviors:

  • Experience: 3+ years in digital marketing, content strategy, or social media, with experience leading content initiatives or managing projects.
  • Content Creation: Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling content tailored to digital audiences.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Social Media Management: Proven ability to manage and grow social media communities in alignment with brand voice and objectives.
  • SEO & Content Strategy: Proficiency in keyword research, SEO fundamentals, and optimizing content across digital platforms.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Experience with tools like Google Analytics and social platform insights to measure performance and guide content decisions.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to guide team members and align efforts toward shared content goals.
  • Consumer-Centric Thinking: Understanding of digital audience behavior and a passion for creating content that informs, inspires, and motivates.
  • This role is essential to shaping Dairy MAX’s digital voice, ensuring content efforts meaningfully engage audiences and support the organization’s broader goals.
