Job Description

A well-established manufacturer in Louisville is looking for a talented & experienced Accounting Specialist to join their team and assist with daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, & sales tax reporting. This is a full-time, direct hire role that offers a hybrid schedule. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Highlighted Duties:

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations & general ledger account reviews.
• Preparation & data entry of sales tax reports in a timely & accurate manner.
• Assist with month-end close and general bookkeeping tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions & support audits as needed.
• Work closely with leadership on financial reporting & ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Assist with special projects & reporting as assigned.

Highlighted Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and sales tax reporting.
• Proficient in ERP accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, & communication skills.
• Ability to work independently & manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
